Research Interests
Dr. Zheng's research is dedicated to elucidating the molecular mechanisms governing DNA damage response, cellular metabolism, and innate immunity. Her team employs advanced approaches to investigate key post-translational modifications, including ubiquitination, SUMOylation, phosphorylation, and acetylation, and their critical functions in preserving genomic stability and modulating cell proliferation. By uncovering how dysregulation of these processes drives tumor development and therapy resistance, Dr. Zheng seeks to bridge basic scientific insights into innovative cancer therapeutic strategies. To date, she has published 98 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals.
