Min Zhuang Inaugural Australian Ubiquitin Summit 2025

Min Zhuang

Dr. Min Zhuang earned her Ph.D. in Structural Biology through a joint program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, followed by postdoctoral training in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at University of California San Francisco. She is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Life Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University, with expertise spanning structural biology, protein biochemistry, and cell biology. Her lab developed the PUP-IT proximity tagging system and investigates the regulation of peroxisome homeostasis. Since 2020, her lab has published research papers in journals including Developmental Cell (2025), Nature Structural & Molecular Biology (2025), and Journal of Cell Biology (2022, 2025), addressing the molecular mechanisms underlying peroxisome biogenesis and degradation. Dr. Zhuang serves as an Associate Editor for Molecular Biology of the Cell.
