Gwendoline Marbach
I am a Ph.D. student in Cellular Biology at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, in the laboratory of Dr. François-Michel Boisvert.
My research focuses on the nuclear functions of the ubiquitin variant UbKEKS, particularly its role in regulating BRAP localization, chromatin structure, and BRCA1-mediated DNA repair. I use a combination of mass spectrometry-based proteomics, CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, and fluorescence microscopy to investigate how non-canonical ubiquitin signaling contributes to genome stability.
